Like others have stated my device shows up in the app but when I try to connect to my soundbar I get an error message saying "Device is disconnected. Please ensure your mobile device is connected to WI-FI network and the Play-Fi product is powered on". There is no option to troubleshoot whatsoever from here, the only option is to click OK. It did work when I first tried the app but I didn't try adjusting anything at the time. Come on devs, get this fixed as this is a really useful app.

Like just about everyone else who has posted a review, this app doesn't connect to my newly purchased B97 sound bar. The app can find the device on my network and displays it with the correct name (so the wifi connection between the app and the sound bar is clearly working) but when I click on the device name to make a connection with the sound bar, the app times-out with an error message telling me that I either have no phone connection with my wifi access point or that the sound bar doesn't have a connection a connection. This is very disappointing product development by Philips, a company which I've held in very high regard since I was the proud owner of their portable cassette recorders back in the seventies. Surely someone, either the app developer or Philips should fix this issue as soon as possible.

Was able to connect to my soundbar (TAB8405) at first but very soon after I keep getting a message to say that my device is not connected to the internet, even though the Philips Sound app is able to recognise and access the soundbar. When it did connect it was useful for changing settings withough having to use the menu on the device but I am now unable to use the app
